The Oscar-winner for short documentary film, Guneet Monga will be producing a film starring Badhaai Ho actress Sanya Malhotra. The film will be based on a young girl from a small town. The producer will also be producing a magnum opus Tamil film called ‘Soorarai Pottru’ starring south superstar Suriya. She is also setting her sights on various regional language films, including Gujarati and Malayalam.

Sanya Malhotra has had a string of versatile roles in the recent past, which include Dangal, Pataakha, Badhaai Ho and Photograph. The producer and actress share a common factor between them being from Delhi, and are excited to collaborate together.
