Avinash Tiwary

Tiwary began his film career by appearing in short films in 2005. In the lead pair in the drama Laila Maju the romantic film opposite Tripti Dimri as Laila. He had undergone major changes physically and had got transformed or the role. He gained his popularity in 2018 was also much appreciated for his role as Satya in the film Bulbbul in 2020, but his first major role was in the series, Yudh on the television in the year 2014 with Amitabh Bachchan and Aahna Kumra where he plays the role of antagonist followed by Tu Hai Mera Sunday in 2016 which revolved around the lives offive friends, a directorial debut of Milind Dhaimade. His role was loved at the World Premier at the 60h BFI London Film Festival. Since then Avinash Tiwary has starred in crime series such as Khakee: The Bihar Chapter in 2022, Bambai Meri Jaan and Kaala in 2023, Madgaon Express and Sikandar Ka Muqaddar in 2024.

This OTT Actor worked with Om Katare an established artist in the theatre. He had his stint at the New York Film Academy whereby he started with the documentary, Anamika Her Glorious Past in the year 2006. Tiwary worked in films like Suno Na, Ek Nanhi Aawaz which marked his debut in the Hindi films along with Tara Sharma. Much later he had joined the Balaji Motion Pictures in the year 2019 and since then he has acted in two horror films on Netfix in 2020 The film received negative reviews from the critics. In 2021 Avinash Tiwary played the role of a married doctor who is engaged in an extra marital affair with Parineeti Chopra and in the mystery film The Girl on the Train with Aditi Rao Hydari.

His turning point was with his debut with the Neeraj Pandey’s web series Khakhee: The Bihar Chapter which is based on the true events. In the same year, in the film Jahaan, he played the role of a married man to Mrunal Thakur. They both had a great chemistry which was praised by the media. Over the years Avinash Tiwary’s journey in the entertainment industry has intensified and become competent. In the film Kaala he plays Ritwik the IB Officer, an intense role. The film critic Deepa Gahlot stated that his role was half baked but both these series earned him a name in the industry and his recognition as an actor.
