Manushi Chhillar

Manushi Chhillar has signed for three film deal contracts with Yash Raj Films in 2023. She made her debut with Samrat Prithviraj. After several auditions she was cast in the film in the role of Princess Kannauj. Prithviraj’s wife essayed by Akshay Kumar. Elaborating her role, Manushi said that it’s a huge responsibility to play the princess Sanyogita a powerful personality in the film. However, the film was a failure and her performance received negative reviews.

In the same year, Manushi appeared in The Great Indian Family, a comedy film backed by same banner wherein she was seen opposite Vicky Kaushal. Chhillar’s performance was once again received poorly by the critics. The film was a failure at the box office. In 2024, Manushi Chhillar portrayed a Wing Commander opposite Varun Tej in the Hindi- Telugu Bilingual film Operation Valentine which again hadn’t received great reviews and feedback on her acting skills.

In 2024, Manushi Chhillar starred with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which received negative reviews as it bombed at the box office. In 2025, Chhillar played the role of local gangster’s wife in the film Maalik. Her first release of 2025 was opposite Rajkummar Rao. A role that was predictable for her.

In 2025 Manushi played a role opposite John Abraham in Dinesh Vijan’s Tehran. Tehran was a spy action thriller film directed by Arun Gopalan and produced by Dinesh Vijan. It starred Neeru Bajwa, John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar. The film was based on the August 2012 attacks on Israeli diplomats. The film had premiered on 14th August 2025 on Zee5 and on August 27th 2025, it was showcased for screening on Netflix.

Manushi Chhillar played a local gangster wife in Maalik her first release in the year.

In 2023 May, Manushi Chhillar made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival where her appearance was garnered with her evolving journey from pageantry to the film journey. 

Her upcoming and confirmed films lined up are No Entry 2, a sequel of No Entry in which she will star alongside the ensemble star cast in the much-anticipated comedy sequel. The film has scheduled for late 2026 theatrical release.

Her other upcoming film is by filmmaker Dinesh Vijan Project. She opted out of Awarapan 2 and instead signed up for the unnamed ambitious large-scale project which is slated for late 2026 or 2027 for the theatrical run.
