Actor Director Producer and Writer Randeep Hooda’s debut film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar was showcased at the Indian Panorama at the IFFI 55.

Talking to Indianfilmhistory.com about his experience at IFFI 55 he says, “It's my first film showcased at the Indian Panorama section and I'm excited that the film opened to a newer set of global audiences and film connoisseurs. I have tried to redefine how biopics are made in this country and give it a new hue about both technical and storytelling aspects.”

Talking about his future projects he said, “There are a lot of ideas and I would like to jump on some action genre.”

What's his process of imbibing the characters, he says “Common sense, since every role requires a different approach and every director has a different type of working. “

On how cinema impacts the viewers and which subjects, he thinks can be chosen being an environmentalist too Randeep Hooda says, “It is possible to create a difference provided you are not preaching to them, since they may move away from it, but if you make an entertaining and engaging film it may make a difference. Tiger conversation and water are important subjects to talk about through films.”
