Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal had visited the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, which is located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, wherein he marked his presence in the divine ritual of Bhasma Aarti.


Arjun was deeply immersed in the spiritual and culturally ambient environment and had offered his pure and divine prayers and expressed a sense of happiness and joy as he got to experience and witness this ritual.


Arjun Rampal's outfit consisted of a white shirt, which was presented with a black shawl with 'Mahakal' inscribed on it, in a golden coloured embroidery which was one of the traditional symbols of the temple.


Talking about his experience, he said 'This is my first experience of Bhasma Aarti ... I haven't experienced this till date and it came out to be very beautiful, pleasing and wonderful and I feel very happy to be here and I have prayed for the eternal harmony of the nation as well as the world.'


The Bhasma Aarti takes place in the Mahalaleshwar Temple in the divine time period known as 'Brahma Muhurta' which is around 3:30 to 5:30 am and this temple is lovated on the riverbanks of Shipra River in Ujjain which has an immense significance in the Hindu religion as it is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of tha almighty Lord Shiva.
