Director S Shankar opens up on the underwhelming response of Ram Charan's Game Changer at the box office. The film Game was released on January 10, 2025, and has grossed Rs 24.40 crore net at the Indian box office.


The film received a mixed response at the box office which has not been up to the expectations. The Director S Shankar responding to the underperformance of the film confesses that he could have done better and was not completely satisfied with the output of the film.


The director further informed that the film had many good scenes that were trimmed out due to time constraints as the film's total duration was more than five hours.


Game Changer opened with a modest Rs 7 crore on Day 1 and saw a slight dip on Day 2 grossing Rs 6.65 crore and made Rs 7 crore on Day 3 at the Hindi box office. The film began to see a sharp drop thereafter in its first Monday collections plummeting to just Rs 1.75 crore and even on partial holiday on Sankranti, it managed to add only Rs 2.45 crore to its total. Game Changer has grossed Rs 24.40 crore net at the Indian box office to date.
