Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, made his debut in the industry through the Netflix film ‘Qala‘. Babil did not appear in a very long role in this film, but in the part he got, he cast a spell on the hearts of the audience. Recently, at IIFA 2023, Babil received the Best Male Debut Actor Award for his performance in ‘Qala’. During this, Babil was also seen talking about the memories related to his father.

When compared with his father, he has always said that he will not try to be like him at all, but will create his own identity. Babil reiterated the same thing during the recent award event as well.
Babil was asked if he would like to recreate any of his father’s films or characters? To this Babil immediately replied, ‘No… why would you try to recreate any performance of Baba? I think he played each and every character really well. During this, remembering his father, Babil said, ‘I miss him every day in my life. When I was growing up I didn’t have many friends then he was my only friend. Laughing with Baba is a part of my fondest memories.
Babil Khan recently walked the red carpet at the IIFA 2023 Awards in Abu Dhabi with his mother Sutapa Sikdar. Talking about Babil’s work front, he will soon be seen in YRF’s ‘The Railway Men‘. This is the first OTT project of Yash Raj Films. In this R. Madhavan will also be seen. ‘The Railway Man’ series is based on the Bhopal gas tragedy that took place in December 1984.
