Mahesh Manjrekar‘s family drama film with Naseeruddin Shah was announced five years ago i.e. in the year 2018. However, due to some reasons the film could not come on the floor. Now a new report has revealed that the work on the film has started once again.
As per reports, Mahesh has started working on the film. The film has been named ‘Purana Furniture’. The news portal has told in its report that the director of the film himself has confirmed this.
Manjrekar told about this, “Purana Furniture is a very unique film that I am doing with Naseeruddin Shah. This film is making me very excited these days. People today like to watch films with good content. And appreciating them.
He further added that this has encouraged him to do something different as the audience is ready to watch it in theatres. Manjrekar said, “Today I can trust the audience, because they are only watching the content. So I am in the happiest place right now.”
