The legendary singer and melody queen Asha Bhosle released an enchanting Melody ' Saiyaan Bina' at the age of 91 collaborating with her grand daughter Zanai Bhosle. Asha Bhosle has won hearts with her sonorous voice enchanting global audiences as a music icon holding the record of world's most recorded singer of all times.


The song is a throwback to her illustrious musical career. The music video showcases her musical legacy of four generation staring from her farther Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar a celebrated artist and founder of Mangeshkar School of Music, who passed on the legacy to his daughters Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosale. Asha Bhosle further passed it down to his son Anand Bhosle and grand daughter Zanai Bhosle.


The video begins with Asha Bhosale paying tribute to her father while she folds hands. It begins with a mellow tone which gradually picks up beautifully capturing her melodious voice, inimitable style and energy. She is portrayed sitting in an old recording studio glancing through her album reminiscing moments with her family, and her musical fraternity including Lata Mangeshkar, S D Burman, Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar and R D Burman depicting love and longing of those musical days spent with them, as she flips every page. The album is indeed an odd to the love of her life and ace composer RD Burman, whom she addresses by touching her heart and sending love.


The second half of the album showcases Asha Bhosle's grand daughter Zanai Bhosle who's a trained kathak dancer, executes graceful dancing to the tune of a beautiful sitar piece played by Pandit Ravi Chary.


The track is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern music.


Ashaji reminisced her memories of shooting the video in the recording studio which has been her second home said," I have spent more years in this studio than I had spent at my home wherein hundreds of music directors, musicians and artists have recorded thousands of songs, today lies forgotten and forlorn and only music can bring it alive. The video captures me recollecting my memories with Jaidevji, Madan Mohanji, SD Burman, R D Burman, O P Nayyar, Rafi Saheb and Kishore Kumar, with whom I have created many melodies which has been beautifully shot. I feel music is my life and it brightens my soul, and that's what my son has tried to depict in the song.


She adds, "I have seen my ups and downs in life, but this video has brought to me so much happiness and hope to continue my creative legacy with my grand daughter Zanai, who takes it ahead."


Zanai shares how her friends and youngsters of today still get emotional listening to Ashaji's voice said," There is this song 'Aasma' from the Film Saand ki Aankh, which I did not know that she has sung and my friend made me listen to it, they all had tears while she sang. I think people of younger generation adore her singing and she doesn't even know about it. I feel truly blessed to have been born in this legacy and I always pray to make her proud, which is certainly a challenge!
