After the Blockbuster hits of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Telugu Superstar Allu Arjun was arrested by Telangana police in connection to a tragic incident of a death if a woman in a stampede during the premiere of the Pushpa 2.

The situation happens when Allu Arjun waved to the crowd from the sunroof of his car. While the authorities call his action provocative which lead to the stampede by his fans who started pushing his security to reach near his vehicle. While the police claim that despite, he being warmed about large crowds which his team could not control the situation.

In response to the arrest, the Telangana High Court directed Allu Arjun to cooperate with the investigation, noting that an actor cannot be punished merely for their status, but should still be held accountable if involved in negligence.

Since the bail order did not reach the prison authorities on time, the superstar had to spend the night in the prisoner number 7697 and slept on the floor of the jail during his overnight stay.

In his first remarks after walking out of jail on Saturday morning, Allu Arjun said that he is a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate with the authorities. "I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident.
