The auspicious and cultural festival of Holi brought in bright and joyful colours for Bollywood's courageous and passionate actor, John Abraham as his latest film titled 'The Diplomat' has made an decent start at the box office and managed to collect four crore rupees on its first day. This movie is a thriller-drama genre movie directed by Shivam Nair which was released on 14th March.


As per a report by Sacnilk, this movie opened up with four crore rupees on 14th March and then the very next day the festival of colours, Holi may probably have helped it to get a boosting start at the box office and as the weekend is around the corner, it can be said this movie may achieve more numbers at the box office.


Moreover, the occupancy rate of this film on the 14th March acquired a decent percentage of 20.45%. The morning shows had a slightly less occupancy of 7.31% which later skyrocketed to 19.42% in the afternoon and went on increasing in the evening show as it acquired a humongous occupancy of 28.50% and then got slightly suppressed in the night show with an occupancy of 26.56% .


As per the city-wise, the highest occupancy was seen in Chennai which was 75.33% followed by Bhopal's occupancy of 29.50% and then Kolkata's occupancy of 29% which was very close to the occupancy of Bhopal.
