Agastya will start shooting for his second film after the release of ‘The Archies’.

Many star kids of the industry are going to debut in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar’s film ‘The Archies’. These include Agastya Nanda, son of Shweta Nanda, daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Everyone including Agastya is very excited about the Star Kids film. The film is scheduled to release on Netflix in November or December this year. While Agastya is in discussion about his debut film, he has got his hands full on another film as well. Now Agastya will shoot his second film only after the release of ‘The Archies‘.

Agastya Nanda is going to be seen working in the film ‘Ikkis’ after ‘The Archies’. In this film, he is going to play the role of Arun Khetrapal, who was martyred in the war. Agastya needs time to prepare for the role of a Param Vir Chakra winner war martyr. Director Sriram Raghavan required at least three months to prepare Agastya for the role. In such a situation, the shooting of this film will start only after ‘The Archies’ comes on the screen.

A source close to the Bachchan family says, “Agastya may start work on Ikkis only after Archies wraps up. Agastya is very fortunate to have bagged two such iconic roles early in his career. The story and mood of Archies and Ikkis are as different as Amitji and Jayaji’s Sholay and Abhiman. His maternal grandparents are very excited about Agastya’s debut. Agastya’s mother Shweta had shown no interest in acting at all. So for the Bachchan family it is like experiencing the third generation of acting in the Bachchan family without experiencing the second generation.

Talking about ‘The Archies’, director Zoya Akhtar has adapted the famous Archies comic into a film. It is a globally loved cartoon comic. It stars Archie, Betty, Dilton, Ether, Jug Head, Reggie, and Veronica. The story of this film is based on the love triangle drama of high school. Suhana Khan as ‘Veronica’, Khushi Kapoor as ‘Betty’ and Agastya Nanda as ‘Archies’ in the movie ‘The Archies’.
