Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur will be seen sharing screen space for the first time. The upcoming film of both of them ‘Tiku Weds Sheru‘ has been a topic of discussion for the past many days. While earlier the film was about to release in theatres, it is now all set to knock on OTT. This quirky love story of Nawazuddin and Avneet is produced under the banner of Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika Films. The fans were very keen to watch the pairing of Avneet and Nawaz and adding to their curiosity, the trailer of the film has finally been released today which shows a lot of drama.
The trailer shows Sheru (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Tiku (Avneet Kaur) trying to make their lives better, but destiny has something else in store for them. The trailer shows how Sheru falls in love with Tiku and how the two get caught between the underworld, drugs and romance. Produced by Kangana Ranaut, the film promises to present a love story laced with drama.
The trailer begins with Sheru, who is struggling as an actor in Mumbai. But while on one hand he is busy building his career, his family is planning a wedding for him. He finds a bride for Sheru, whose name is Tiku. Ironically, Tiku also dreams of becoming an actress. She seems to have said yes to this marriage only because of her dreams of moving out of Bhopal and establishing a foothold in the film industry in Mumbai. Both get married and after that there is one incident after another in the life of both of them, whose strings also connect with the underworld, drugs.
‘Tiku Weds Sheru‘ is a comedy-drama that brings forth the story of real-life struggles. Tiku and Sheru are very different from each other, but both have the same dream. The complete journey of this awkward story of both will be seen on Prime Video from 23rd June. The most special and unique thing about this movie is its lead pair. Actually, Nawazuddin, 49, is going to be seen courting 21-year-old Avneet Kaur in the film.
