‘Gulmohar’ to be screened at Indian Film Festival in Germany

Sharmila Tagore and Manoj Bajpayee‘s film ‘Gulmohar‘ was released in March this year. The film, which released on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar, received a good response from the audience. Along with this, the critics also appreciated the film a lot. The story of the Batra family was shown in this film. Interestingly, Sharmila Tagore made a comeback to the acting world after a long time through this film. Now a new information is coming about this film. It will now be screened at the Indian Film Festival in Stuttgart, Germany.

Rahul V Chitella has directed this film. Now he is very excited about screening the film at the festival. Rahul says, ‘I am very happy that ‘Gulmohar’ has been selected for the prestigious Indian Film Festival in Stuttgart. My previous film ‘Azaad‘ won the Best Short Film award at this festival in 2017. Now it is very exciting to return to this festival with such a special film like ‘Gulmohar‘.

The director further said, ‘It is heartening to see the love and appreciation that the film is receiving from every corner of the world. It is indeed a pleasure to see audiences from all over the world connecting so deeply with this film based on the story of family and home. Rahul V Chitella said that there was a screening of ‘Gulmohar’ in New York last month and now it is going to be held in Stuttgart and Berlin in July.
