Netflix has given information about this by sharing the poster of the film on its social media handle. The caption of the post read, ‘They say, Afwaah grow best. The film was released in limited cinemas
The Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bhumi Pednekar starrer film was released in limited theatres. Many cinephiles had complained on social media that they were not able to get its shows in their nearest theatres. Responding to this, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had said, ‘This is wrong. If you are releasing in theatres, you are doing it for an audience. It should reach the people. Now, what will happen that the collection of the film will be low, then people will say that the film is not working and it affects the actors as well. People are not getting the show anywhere.

Makers expect from OTT release
‘Afwaah’ had a box office collection of only Rs 30 lakhs due to its limited release. The movie clashed with ‘The Kerala Story‘, in which it completely disappeared. Now the makers have high hopes from its OTT streaming.
