Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh‘s wife and actress Genelia D’Souza was last seen in the Marathi film ‘Ved‘, released on December 30, 2022. The film created panic at the ticket window. Now meanwhile, Genelia has announced her new film, which is titled ‘Trial Period‘. In this, she is paired opposite Manav Kaul.

Jio Cinema shared a teaser of the upcoming web series of Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul, whose story is quite interesting. In the teaser, Genelia is searching for a surrogate father and is also conducting interviews for the same. She is looking for who is going to live up to her standards. After putting potential fathers through a side-splitting test, she finally chooses Manav Kaul as the ‘surrogate father‘.

Directed by Aleya Sen, the web series is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and also stars Hemant Bhandari, Amit Ravindranath Sharma and Aleya Sen as producers. Along with Genelia Deshmukh, the web series also stars Manav Kaul and the teaser has already got the fans pretty excited. The series will stream on Jio Cinema from 21st July.
