Prabhas and Kriti’s ‘Adipurush’ to release on Amazon Prime Video after theatrical release

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer most awaited mythological drama film ‘Adipurush‘ has already created a lot of buzz. Waiting for this film of Om Raut since last one year. One day left for the release and the film has done exceptionally well in advance bookings. It is expected that it is going to break the first day collection record of ‘Pathaan’.

Adipurush OTT Release Date
Surprisingly, however, the film has already found an OTT partner and a release date even before it hits the theatres. Popular on-demand service Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights of Adipurush. As per reports, he has signed an exclusive deal for a streaming window of eight weeks after the release. This means that the film will be available on the OTT platform in the second week of August.

Doing Wonders In Advance Booking
Adipurush is produced on a grand scale by Retrophiles’ Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. Produced by People Media Factory, the film is all set to enthrall the Telugu audience as well. Earlier in the teaser released in the year 2022, the film was also criticized for its poor VFX, after which the release date of Adipurush was postponed.

Fans Are Eagerly Waiting
The team tried their best and gave it fresh VFX. Its songs “Jai Shri Ram” and “Ram Siya Ram” played an important role in mitigating the backlash. During the promotion of the film, Kriti Sanon was trolled a lot for kissing Om Raut. However, all this noise stopped when the advance booking of the film started. It has given tremendous performance in advance booking.

Adipurush to release on June 16
Adipurush stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janki, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devdutt Nage as Lord Hanuman. Ajay-Atul has composed the music for the film, which is set to release worldwide this Friday, June 16, 2023.
