Rajesh Sharma

Rajesh Sharma is well known actor who has been in the film industry for a long time in the main stream cinema in Hindi and Bengali films.

He made his debut in the Bollywood in 1996 in the film Maachis alongside with superstar Shahrukh Khan.  He continued working for Bengali films from early 2000 and co-starred with Chandrachur Singh, Jimmy Shergil, Raj Zutshi, Tabu, Om Puri to name a few.  

He made a comeback in Hindi films in Parineeta in 2005 and it was debut film for Vidya Balan wherein she starred opposite Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt.

He also acted in the Bengali titled film Paromitar Ek Din in the same year . A film written and directed by Aparna Sen.

Thereafter Rajesh Sharma got his popularity in Bollywood films for his convincing roles in films such as Khosla Ka Ghosla, Ishqiya, No One Killed Jessica, Chillar Party, The Dirty Picture, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Special 26, B.A Pass, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Bajarangi Bhaijaan, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, M.S.Dhoni:The Untold story and India’s Most Wanted.  Most of the films he worked in were that of a character artist went on to become top films and some of them have touched the box office.  

Rajesh Sharma is a prominent face in Bollywood films and is known for his villain or comic roles in the films.

Rajesh Sharma has also acted on television though he was keenly interested in the silver screen and went on to do more roles in Bollywood and in Bengali films where he is a much sought after actor.
